Please feel free to contact us with any requests regarding the production of Sofubi. You can also simply provide us with handwriting and simple illustrations. For those not specialized in illustrations, UCHOTEN FACTORY illustrators and prototype modelers will use both 3D software and analog tools to support your requests.
When the prototype model is finished, we will use a mold of the original model and make a wax mold. Wax molds are made so that each part such as the head and body can be assembled, and the metal molds are made using wax models as reference.
Use a hand spray gun or handpiece airbrush to paint with a special soft vinyl paint that is resistant to elongation and scratches. Sofubi painting features freehand paint with beautiful molded colors and gradation on the painted surface, and masking paint with prominent borders.
UCHOTEN FACTORY also supports special expressions. Not only luminescence and clear molding but also marble molding and gold or silver molding are also supported. We also accept expressions made with special coloring. For example, expressions like wood grain and shell. Feel free to consult with us about what you have in mind.
We will support you until the finished Sofubil is placed in the store. We also accept special assembling using paper headers, boxes, and acrylic.
