“Sofubi+” Craftsmanship
Sofubi creations, including figures, have been loved by many fans for generations. At UCHOTEN FACTORY, while preserving traditional sofubi manufacturing, we incorporate new equipment and technologies to enable more flexible and advanced “Sofubi+” craftsmanship.
Laser Processing Machine
In addition to traditional sofubi production, UCHOTEN FACTORY utilizes the Trotec Speedy400 laser processing machine. This machine can cut acrylic and wooden boards, and engrave patterns on material surfaces. It also allows for the creation of patterns on the surface of sofubi.
Pad Printing
We have introduced a painting machine, Nandemokun, that can consistently and neatly print simple circular designs, such as monster eyes. It is capable of printing even on non-flat surfaces.
Prototype Creation
Using 3D software (ZBrush) and a 3D printer (Saturn 3), we can create highly detailed
prototypes, enabling the production of precision products.
